Lupa Studios is a biomaterial design studio based in New York, founded in 2025 by four friends across design, marketing, architecture, and engineering.

We collect food waste from industrial kitchens and cafes across the city–eggshells, coffee grounds, fruit and vegetable scraps–and transform them into art, fashion, and furniture.

Through workshops hosted in cafes, pop-ups, and third spaces around New York, we open the studio to anyone drawn to making.
